CASA U is In Session and Enrolling

CASA of Siskiyou County announces that they are enrolling students in CASA U, a self-paced on-line curriculum for those interested in becoming Court Appointed Special Advocates.

CASAs spend time with children in foster care getting to know them in order to advocate for their best interests. To be a CASA, one must pass background checks and complete 30 hours of training. CASA of Siskiyou County now offers that training with a blend of on-line units and in-class group session. Fall in-class sessions begin October 15. Winter session begin in late January.

To find out more and to apply for acceptance into CASA U, contact Lori Keyser-Boswell at 530-841-0844 or lkeyserboswell@siskiyoucasa.org.
